How I (Nearly) Mastered Spanish In 12 Weeks

If you have followed my YouTube channel lately you will have noticed that I have been adding in some Spanish lately...

Here’s the thing: I didn`t take a semester of Spanish during my freshman year in college (studied in Germany), so when I took a trip to Mexico that summer, I said almost nothing beyond “Hola” and “Buenos Dias”.

It was embarrassing.

To redeem myself, I thought that I’d plan a post-graduation trip to South America and learn Spanish before. So I tried a bunch of free and paid programs out there (including Pimsleur’s audio CD’s and Rosetta Stone), but Rocket Spanish was the one that worked best for how I wanted to learn.

I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Spanish fast and easy, you can go check it out clicking the link below. They are currently offering a 6 - day free trial so you can see for yourself! However, I don´t know how long they will offer this so you can find an indepth review below.

My Review of Rocket Spanish

Rocket Spanish offers an intensive course for all those who are keen to learn Spanish. The entire course comes in an easy to download format which makes it accessible offline also.  This user friendly course ensures that if you follow their instructions, you will be fluent in Spanish when the course is completed. Rocket Spanish is quick to download and will not slow down your PC with unnecessary graphic intensive software.

The Pros of Rocket Spanish

Available at affordable prices, Rocket Spanish has a lot to offer to all aspirants who want to learn Spanish. Let’s have a look at some of the features of this product:

1. High Quality Audio - Rocket Spanish lessons are high in audio quality and are quite easy to follow. At every stage, the conversations allow time for you to repeat so you can get the pronunciations right.

2. Learning made Fun - The program also focuses on conversational learning. It comprises several games that test your vocabulary at every level of the course. MegaVerbs, MegaAudio and MegaVocab are verb vocabulary intensive audio lessons that aid understanding in a fun way. These are very essential, as grammar forms an integral part of any language.

3. Interactive with built in Progress Tracker - The program also comes with 32 interactive audio lessons. These lessons are conversation intensive and cover all day-to-day situations. If online/offline access is a problem, then there is a print friendly version that can be used. A progress tracker is also incorporated with the program to help you analyze your progress. There are also quizzes and self tests that test your fluency at each level.  The clarity and easy to understand format is what makes this course very helpful to learners.

4. Certification Guaranteed - At the end of the course, you are eligible to appear for “Rocket Spanish Premium Certificate Tests” which are equivalent to levels A1 and A2 of the Common European Frame of Reference for Languages.

5. Easy on the Pocket - Rocket Spanish is not expensive, and best of all- you get a lifetime membership so you need not ever forget Spanish. Time is not a restrictive factor because your time is factored in to tailor the course for your specific needs.

6. Very Fast - If you put in the effort you will be fluent in normal conversations in no time. In fact it took me only 12 weeks!

The Cons of Rocket Spanish

While the course covers a great deal in conversations like greetings, ordering, touring and vacations with the family etc., there does not seem to be much for the business or working professional.

My Verdict

Overall, the course will help you get a good understanding of the language and ensure you attain some amount of confidence and fluency. Rocket Spanish is one of the most structured and learner friendly courses available online today. The built in audio version is their best and most helpful feature which makes up for any shortfall the course may otherwise have.
